Not your typical love movie
It is difficult to describe the feelings you have after watching. Perhaps the first thought that came to my mind was: 'If I didn't know for sure what it was, in fact, I would have thought it was Nicholas Sparks who invented and shot it.'

'Belief in Love' is not your typical love film, moreover, it is not a film aimed at teenage girls (although KJ Apa's participation in it clearly makes them the target audience). The film carries in itself what is not customary to talk about between young people: faith and love for God, the awareness that everything is His will, and the only thing that remains for us, people, is to believe in the hope of a miracle.

Jeremy Kemp's story is told in the spirit of classic melodramas. We see acquaintance, falling in love, and an obstacle in the form of illness, which divides the lives of the heroes into before and after. KJ Apa and Britt Robertson got used to their roles perfectly. It is striking that a film in which faith is preached does not look like a 'sectarian' movie (whatever that means), given the rather high proportion of the philosophical component of the characters' dialogues.

The two main components of the film, in my opinion, are music and aesthetics, which harmoniously complement each other. I want to watch the film, and despite the timing of almost 2 hours, it looks in one go.

Of course, not everyone will like this film. There are no alcohol, vulgar jokes and even a hint of sex does not slip, because all this does not matter when something more is at stake - love for which you are ready to sacrifice.
